One of the hottest and liveliest months of the year. Temperatures reach 32-34°C and the sea is very warm at 25-26°C. Beaches and venues are busy and nightlife is at its peak. Ideal for those wanting energy and fun; tiring for those wary of heat and crowds.

August

Similar to July, at times even hotter (33-35°C). The sea is at its warmest (26-27°C). It is the busiest period of the year. August is the peak for those who want a full summer holiday, a lively atmosphere and the warmest sea; for those seeking calm, it is the most challenging month.

September

For many, Bodrum's finest month. The weather is still warm (28-31°C), and the sea, warmed all summer, is at its most comfortable (25-26°C). Yet from mid-month, crowds thin noticeably. September is almost perfect for those who want a warm sea but want to avoid the summer rush.

October

The flavour of autumn. The weather is mild at 23-27°C with plenty of sunny days. The sea is still warm in the first half (22-24°C) and swimming is possible. Beaches are uncrowded, the town calm. October is a great choice for a peaceful, balanced holiday well suited to sightseeing.

November

The swimming season closes. The weather drops to around 17-20°C and the chance of rain rises. It is no longer suited to swimming, but nature is still beautiful and the town very calm. November suits those seeking quiet, walks and a peaceful escape.

December - January - February

Winter months are cool and at times rainy (10-15°C). The sea is cold and the swimming season is closed. Still, Bodrum lives in winter too: visiting the castle and museum, walking along the shore, warm seafood-and-meze tables, and a quite different kind of peace.
